Giving up the Motorcycles

Well we are finally getting serious about selling our motorcycles. As much fun as they've been over the last three & a half years, they are pretty much sitting dormant in our garage. Life has been too busy to enjoy any recent rides. We've gone to some cool places in the past, but I really would like the space in my garage back as well as the ability to use the money from the sell to get closer to becoming debt-free. WD wants to eventually buy other bikes, but many years from now after Erin & Dylan are out of the house. We are in the season of our lives where we play the role of taxi to two busy little people. It's hard to taxi them and their friends (not to mention the bags, luggage and sporting equipment) on a motorcycle ;-) Say a prayer that they sell quick. We put flyers around town, but now we are going to list them on Ebay tomorrow. We will see! Here are the listings as they appear on our flyers (will post link to Ebay when we list them):

Friday Evening Movie @ Home

After a crazy day at the office, I came home. The kids are out of town and it was just WD and me. We had no plans... just chilled out to watch a movie. WD got a craaaaazy movie from blockbuster, called Black Snake Moan. Movie sucked (a little to risque' for my enjoyment), but the soundtrack was pretty good. If you like blues music and can overlook the profanities in the lyrics, you'll like the soundtrack too. Don't waste your time with the flick.

I just thought I was up on technology...

I'm trying my hand at this blogging thing. I know what it is and have read a few blogs posted by different staff members at our church, but never actually did it. WELL HERE IT IS! I uploaded a photo and am including a little text. The beautiful little darling is my girl, Erin. Although my blog is titled, "Me & WD" I can just about bet that most of the blogs will be about my boy, Dyl and my princess Erin. I guess if you think about it, they are a huge part of me & WD!

I better get upstairs now... WD's already in bed and I need to get ready to catch a few z's myself.
