Beautiful Girl (if I do say so myself!)

Here are a few shots from Erin's photo shoot downtown. Her company dance owner wanted to get photos made for her studio, Jete Dance Company. Above are some of the candids I snapped while waiting on the professional photographer.

Jupiter Parade 2008

Erin and her dance team were invited to walk/dance in the Jupiter Parade in downtown Baton Rouge Saturday night. We were all very enthusiastic, until we realized how very cold it was going to be. The girls were good natured, but danced very little. They were trying to stay warm and to keep smiles on their faces. The crowds were polite (as far as Mardi Gras crowds go), so other than the cold weather, it was lots of fun. Dylan and WD spent father-son time while I walked with Erin. They ended up catching lots of beautiful beads and even toys.

Erin's Fall 2007 Dance

We experienced our first middle school dance... no asking each other out, no boys, no formal dresses... just nice clean pre-teen girly fun! Erin rushed from the dance studio where she had dance rehearsal to the middle school gym. It was so funny to see her at the dance studio jamming out to the hip-hop routine, then walk into the fall dance just to stand around and giggle with her friends. No jamming out in front of her peers ;-) It was a great time for me (with the exception of having to listen to Soulja Boy at least 5 times), because she was perfectly comfortable with me volunteering as a chaperone and photographer. St George Fair Performance

Erin performed with her company dance team at the St. George School Fair today. It was amazing how much her and her teammates have improved in their dance technique. I was so impressed. Here are a few shots from the performance!
